Resin bound surfacing is extremely versatile and is a sustainable, natural and environmentally friendly product. As planning permission is not required it is ideal for use in heritage sites and settings requiring specialist surface water drainage. There really are many benefits for using resin bound surfacing, here are just a few:

• A natural stone aggregate giving a very attractive, seamless finish.
• Hardwearing and durable with a lifespan of around 10 to 15 years (in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines).
• Weed resistant and requires very little maintenance.
• Can be overlaid onto many existing surfaces (if the conditions are suitable).
• Can be used on gradients and slopes to give a natural gravel finish following the contours of the land.
• Porous and complies with the SuDS regulations which came into effect in Oct 2008.
• Provides a smooth surface to walk on so is ideal for patio areas, wheelie bins, use for disability access areas and those who favour high heels or bare feet!
• Comes in UV resistant options, meaning it will not fade in sunlight like other surfaces.
• Stain-resistant to oil, petrol and diesel and can be power-washed.
• Sustainable and environmentally friendly; available in an extensive range of natural and recycled aggregates in a wide choice of colours and sizes.
• An anti-slip coating can also be applied making it ideal for families, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
• Due to its flexibility, unique and interesting patterns such as corporate logos, house numbers or motifs can be created.
• The natural-coloured aggregates will look new for years to come.

If your existing surface base is suitable, such as concrete or tarmac, and is in a reasonable condition, we may be able to simply overlay your current surface which will provide a significant cost saving eliminating the need for excavation and installation of a new base surface. Where a new base surface would be required, we can complete all aspects of the ground works and preparation, including a complete re-design of the area. We can also advise you about drainage, manholes, electrics, soft landscaping and much, much more. Alternatively, we’re very happy to work with your own construction team and simply install the resin surfacing if that’s what you require.

Resin bonded is best suited to very large areas of surfacing, particularly long driveways or large parking areas due to its cost-effectiveness. The benefits of resin bonded surfacing include:
