Cobblestones create a stylish and attractive surfacing option and are available in a variety of colour and surface finishes.

Granite setts and weathered cobblestones look fantastic in a courtyard setting or against the backdrop of period properties, whilst a black basalt cobblestone produces a contemporary, sleek look. Combine cobblestones with contemporary products such as corten steel edging or weathered sleepers and you can create truly bespoke and on-trend surfacing solutions for the spaces around your home.

Cobblestones can either be hand cut from natural stone or manufactured, usually from concrete. Colour choices are slightly limited with natural cobblestones and are mostly available in shades of grey or buff. Manufactured cobblestones provide a wider range of colours and textures, from reds, ochres and brindle through to greys, charcoals and blacks, providing ample choice to match any surrounding.

Cobblestones are multi-functional and can be used to create complete patios and pathways or used as edging stones around landscaped beds, driveways, patios or pathways or features such as fountains and garden ponds. They can even be used as a complete driveway solution if laid on a full bed of mortar and locked together with strong jointing mortar; this can, however, be an expensive option. Cobblestones are versatile and can be laid in any pattern and can be used in conjunction with other products such as resin bound surfacing to create truly unique installations.

To any home owner requiring a new drive I can highly recommend Graveltech. The work was done to an excellent finish by their skilled personnel. A new step was also required and the same excellent finish was applied.
